一、競賽目的
為提昇本校學生專業領域研究風氣以及表達能力，鼓勵學生發表並展示學術研究之成果，舉辦校園學生論文競賽。
I. Aim of the competition
For stimulating students' research atmosphere, improving presentation skills, and encouraging students to publish and demonstrate the achievements of academic research, we organize this scientific paper competition for all students of the National Chung Hsing University.
二、參賽資格
目前本校在學學生(包含110學年度畢業生)，分為大學部及碩博士班兩個組別，各組別競賽分為五大領域，「人工智慧與數據分析及數學」、「人社管理科學」、「奈米材料科技」、「工程與應用科技」、「生物科技與化學」，參賽作品請擇一領域參與，參賽者應恪守學術倫理。
II. Eligibility
All enrolled students including graduated students on 2021 academic year of our school are welcome and qualified to participate in this competition. It is divided into two groups: undergraduate & graduate students.There are five research fields: Artificial Intelligence & Data Analysis and Mathematics, Human and Social Management Science, Nanomaterials Technology, Engineering and Applied Technology, and Biotechnology and Chemistry.
Participants must specifically choose one of fields on article submission. Participants should obey the academic ethics.
三、競賽方式
本競賽分初賽與決賽方式進行，說明如下：
(一)初賽
1.以線上審查方式進行。
2.審查資料以A4格式直式橫打製作，字體中文請採標楷體字型，英文及數字請採 Times New Roman、字體12大小、行距1.5倍行高，至多10頁，並需有指導教授簽名。
3.資料內容須有中英文摘要、關鍵字、前言、材料與方法、結果與討論、參考文獻、誌謝。
4.初賽評分方式依照原創性、技術性、完整性、邏輯架構等為評分項目。
5.初賽投稿格式說明公布於https://reurl.cc/dXNkrD。
(二)決賽
1.以寬80公分、長100公分壁報大小作壁報展示，並以口頭報告的方式進行。
2.決賽當天將於決賽地點準備展示攤位，供決賽者張貼壁報。
3.口頭報告時間約為10分鐘(含評審委員提問)。
4.評分項目包含：壁報呈現、內容完整性、表達能力等為評分項目。
5.決賽壁報格式說明公布於https://reurl.cc/dXNkrD。
(三)本競賽繳交資料不齊全、文件證明不清楚致無法判識、導致資格不符合者，恕不另行通知，亦不退件。
III. Competition rules
The whole competition is composed of a preliminary submission and a final stage, as explained below:
1. Preliminary submission
(1) Conducted by an online review.
(2) All submitted articles must strictly follow the requirements given below: and no more 10 pages; the font type uses “Times New Roman”; the font size is 12 pts; the line spacing is 1.5 times the line height; it is required to have the signature of your advisor.
(3) The content of each submitted paper must be arranged in accordance with the following subsections: English abstract; introduction; keywords; methods and materials; results and discussions; references; acknowledgements.
(4) In this stage, the screening standard is based on originality, technicality, completeness, and logical structure.

2. Final (carried out by posters)
(1) The dimension of each poster is of 80 cm wide and 100 cm long.
(2) The sponsor will provide all finalists with poster-shelves.
(3) For each finalist, the oral presentation will last about 10 minutes (including responses to questions raised by reviewers).
(4) The scoring items include: poster presentation, content integrity, presentation skills, etc.

3. If the submitted information is incomplete, the document proof is unclear and cannot be identified, or the qualifications are not met, no document will be returned and without prior notice.
四、競賽獎項
(一)碩博士班組別之各領域將頒發以下獎項
1.特優1名，頒發獎金新台幣伍萬元及獎狀。
2.第一名1名，頒發獎金新台幣貳萬元及獎狀。
3.第二名1名，頒發獎金新台幣壹萬元及獎狀。
4.第三名2名，頒發獎金新台幣伍仟元及獎狀。
5.佳作若干名，頒發獎狀，名額由籌備委員會決定。
(二)大學部組別之各領域將頒發以下獎項
1.特優1名，頒發獎金新台幣伍萬元及獎狀。
2.第一名1名，頒發獎金新台幣貳萬元及獎狀。
3.第二名1名，頒發獎金新台幣壹萬元及獎狀。
4.第三名2名，頒發獎金新台幣伍仟元及獎狀。
5.佳作若干名，頒發獎狀，名額由籌備委員會決定。
(三)全部得獎者應公開海報展示，特優及第一名應擇期公開口頭發表，若無法配合，得取消其得獎資格。
(四)大學部從缺名額得流用至碩博班，各組名額得從缺，所有獎金及名額由籌備委員會決定。
IV. Competition Awards
1.The following awards will be awarded for each field/ two groups:
(1)The high distinction award winner, awarded the prize of NT $50,000 along with a certificate of merit.
(2)The 1st winner, awarded the prize of NT $20,000 along with a certificate of merit.
(3)The 2nd winner, awarded the prize of NT $10,000 along with a certificate of merit.
(4)The 3rd winner, awarded the prize of NT $5,000 along with a certificate of merit.
(5)A number of Honorable Mention Awards, awarded certificates of merit.
2. All the winners should be displayed on posters, and the high distinction award winner and the 1st winner should give an oral presentation. Failure to cooperate will result in disqualification of the award.
3.The vacant places in the undergraduate students can be transferred to the graduate students. Each group can be vacant. All awards and places are decided by the preparatory committee.
